FM-CFS Canada's 'Eat to Give' program!

FM-CFS Canada has partnered with Community Charity Services, a non-profit organisation, to make it possible for you to buy your groceries or gas with about 5% of your spending given back to us by the store. It costs you nothing. You enjoy all of your spending.

Gift Cards, No Cost
Instead of using cash or your debit card to buy your groceries, you would have an amount withdrawn from your bank account at regular intervals (bweekly, bi-weekly, monthly) and in the mail you would receive that amount in declining-balance cards or 'gift cards' at your chosen grocery store(s). The stores give the money back to Community Charity Services which gives us the portion you earned.

Just like...saving grocery receipts
Much like when people collected receipts from grocery stores and turned them in en masse to get donations from the grocery stores, but now we're using the grocery stores' modern equivalent with declining balance gift cards.

Demoninations, Stores
You can get a mix of cards every month.   You might choose $300 in gift cards for Loblaws, Sobeys, COSTCO, etc., $50 for Tim Horton's, and $30 at ESSO. If you wish to adjust the stores selected, the monthly amount, even suspend it for a month, it's as easy as a call to Community Charity Services.

The Benefit!
200 people spending $400 per month could earn more than $20,000 to help people battling Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Friends in Business?
This works for both individuals and companies, so if you could encourage a firm to participate, we'd love your help..

A Testimonial...
John Ernst, Executive Director, FM-CFS Canada, notes "I use the declining balance cards instead of my debit card, so it's much the same. I buy enough cards to cover most of my grocery shopping, and use my debit card if it's a more expensive month. It's easy and it helps. It would be nice to have 2000 friends helping us this way."

Really Easy...

We can adjust the list of grocery stores to include ones in your region, as the form shows only some of the many stores participating.
