Honorary Directors:

Dr. Eva Grof - Honorary Founder

Dr. Grof is one of the founders of FM-CFS Canada and recipient of the first Lighthouse award from the Fibromayalgia and M.E. / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome patient community. Dr. Grof has led patient advocacy and pioneered treatment for this patient group.

Mr. Graham Mayes - Honorary Past President

Mr. Mayes is business leader and philanthropist. He served as Chair and President of FM-CFS Canada for eight years. He led many campaigns to assist the patient community and has singly helped through his efforts keep the organisation funded to achieve its goals in serving our client base.

Current Directors:

Dr. Edward Napke - Vice President and Director

Dr. Napke has served on the Board of FM-CFS Canada in a variety of roles since the inception of the foundation in 1996. Dr. Napke is well recognised amongst citizen led advocacy, including his remarkable work on non-smoking legislation, environmental issues and also in creating Canada’s Drug Adverse Reaction Reporting Program He works tirelessly for causes he believes in and never gives in to defeatist reasoning.

Mr. David Mann - President, Chair and Director

Mr. Mann has been active within the foundation since 1996. He has served several terms as a Director and also advisor to the organisation. Mr. Mann is a patient advocate and has personal experience with M.E. and Fibromyalgia being diagnosed with both in 1994. David has appeared on public TV, has performed in CTV advocacy PSAs and has been vocal to the provincial and federal governments about these ailments and active in changing how patients are viewed treated and informed.

Ms. Kasia Majewski - Director

Ms. Majewski is a patient representative on the Board and has served the foundation as a director for three years. Ms. Majewski is critical is creating strategic direction, assisting with media and setting up alliances with Industrial partners. Ms. Majewski also speaks from personal experience as a patient who suffers from both M.E. and FMS.

Mr. Bruce Hill, CFRE - Director

Bruce is a charitable giving specialist with over 25 years of experience in the education and health care sectors. He is currently managing the eastern Ontario region of the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
