FM-CFS Canada Gala Balls: 2001, 2002, 2003

   50's Sock Hop!!!
      October 4th, 2003
      Thank you to all involved!

For the third year the Ottawa Congress Centre and the Arthur Murray dance studio were partners in presenting our annual ballroom dance & dinner, an exciting evening of fine dining and dancing, each year with a theme. After a short but moving video by High Angle Productions, everyone was entertained by Eddy & the Stingrays, and Elvis!   Plenty of photos were taken around the 1955 Thunderbird!    Well-known and witty Ottawa lawyer Lawrence Greenspon joined us again as auctioneer, while Jerri Southcott, Health Reporter on the New RO, was our esteemed Master of Ceremonies.   The first Lighthouse Award was issued to a very caring person who has contributed strongly to helping people with FM & CFS, Dr. Eva Grof.   When the Royal Ottawa Hospital stopped treating her CFS and FM patients, she quit the hospital to care for them.
